Beth Galton is a New York based food and still life photographer. A consummate professional, her attention to detail and strong sense of light and composition has allowed her to acquire a noteworthy client list. She works for many of the top advertising agencies, design companies and magazines throughout the world. Her advertising clients range from large companies such as Denny’s, Chipotle, Burts Bees, Starbucks and Motts as well as photographing imagery for packaging for companies like Gerbers, Bath and Bodyworks and St. Ives. Beth’s images have been featured in The Washington Post, Saveur, Rachel Ray, and Dr. Oz magazine to name a few.
Beth was one of the first prominent table top photographers to utilize motion picture lighting and techniques in her print work. This led her to explore on her own, the process of filmmaking. Her love of imagery and telling a story visually has always been a passion so video was a natural next step.
Many of Beth’s personal projects have won numerous awards throughout her career. Most noteworthy is the Cut Food series which garnered awards from the Art Director’s Club, PDN- Taste awards and One Life, Graphis, International Photography Awards, APANY, APA National and One Eyeland. Her work has been exhibited at Aperture, NY, Staten Island Museum, Dacia Gallery, NY, Powerhouse, NY, Milano Art Week, McIninch Art Gallery New Hampshire and took First place at the Taste of Art, Dairy Art Center, Colorado.
